Pilot bushing problem
My pilot bushing wont fit... Im trying to put it into an avenir motor matched up to an lsd fwd tranny. My pilot bushing wont fit over the pilot shaft on the tranny or into the crank.

Its too big for the pilot shaft and too big for the crank. Has anyone else had this problem?

I got it in a clutch kit and when I went to all the places that sold the pilot bushing (beside nissan) they were all the same size as the one I have.

Are the any substitutes? Or should I just get it machined to fit?

On a FWD Tranns motor you dont need to put the pilot bushing in. The trans spline does not get into the back of the crank

Now if you want to put it in you have to pull out the metal pc that is in the back of the crank that comes on Automatic models. When you pull it out of the crank your pilot bushing will fit
