Well Im running a custom intank dual Walboro set-up. Dual feeds (-6 lines) run to a y-block that converge to a -8 line. Which runs up to my custom -8 rail with 1600cc injectors all regulated by an aero-motive FPR. I still have the stock return from the FPR. A side note though is with this set-up you usually want to rewire your pumps with a thicker gauge power wire. I have seen voltage drops with the stock wires when pushing these pumps to the max. Changing the power wire to something thicker gives a little more cushion.
Also im running e85 which is why I have such a big fuel system, and just under 600whp. I will be pushing upwards of 650-680whp this coming summer though.
Rob if you would like to look into this option, I would only be to get you a custom dual intake set-up if I had your car at my shop. I also have custom rails already machined and ready to go.
As far as risk.....you always run a certain risk with anyset-up. Cars are cars and things might fail. In all my years I have not had a set-up fail yet. From dual walboro EVO's to triple walboro Supra's.
We only had to modify the stock tank slightly......The A1000 are nice but in my experience those pumps have failed many more times than any walboro i have run. Its up to you in the end, but I love my fuel system set-up, it works great and no one would ever see it. No sumped tank or mounting an A1000 under my car, ect.....
