Absolutely. No one with a fuel injected car should be running that pump. We could get into the details, but that's the gist of it.
I'm also 95% sure it's the direct cause of your problem. Before you even mentioned you had the low pressure pump I figured your problem was injector size (which we've ruled out) or fuel pump.

Thanks ben I will try that, Its the only thing I can think off since I had the same problem with 2 diff fuel systems. And it only happens when I really crank up the boost. Plus I think it like 5 years old as well.

x2. car needs a high pressure pump. I would also recommend a pump rewire to give constant voltage and a z32 fuel filter it flows better.

You read my mind on the fuel filter. Will the ones they have at autozone work?

it makes for nice upgrade. keep in mind your fuel pressure is going to change by 2-3psi with the z32 fuel filter.

91-94 has one p/n and 95-99 has another. I am not sure of the difference either.

most likely the same pump with different mounting equipment. since the 91-94 ser pumps are physically larger the walbro it needs a install kit to make it work.
