K so I installed the new filter and it seems to be running richer, its pig rich all the way to 5k, once it hits that its starting going up to 12-12.5, so waiting on a new fuel pump hopefully it fixes the problem, I can't think of anything else.

its running rich because the fuel pressure changed due to the less restrictive filter.

I agree, I called the guy back to confirm it had a walbro 255 in it and he didn't know what it had in it!! He said a shop replaced it and it should be a walbro, for all I know the stock pump could be in there. Also He said the pump was installed in 2002! That means the pump is almost 8 years old.

Okay I just pulled the pump, can someone please tell me that this isn't what I think it is, the stock pump? This thing is tiny.

Me to!!! All this time Iv been batteling with the fuel running lean and it was the fuel pump all along. will update once I get the pump in. Might take a while cuz of christmas. This is the first time I was actually happy about finding a problem with my car and having to spend money on it.

Walbros are shiny silver in color with black plastic. As you already know, that's no Walbro.

Yeap! I knew something was wrong whenever I opened the orange box it was in and it was the size of a D battery. That explains all the problems I have been haveing with the car, lucky I haven't driven it much over the past year and have left it parked most of the time. I found on the top of the fuel pump where is says bosch, Im assuming its the stock fuel pump.
