I've got a FSM, it helps. The deal is, when I acquired the car, it was pretty much a total hack job. There was all kinds of crazy **** wrong with it. I'll never buy someone else's project car again.

But I'm pretty sure that I need to replace the CTS. I'm going to tone out the wires on the connector, and find out if they're going to the right pin at the ECU.

I'm getting close, so I'm feeling pretty good about it. I had to just park it for a while, and take a break. It started smoking really bad, I'm pretty sure it was the turbo, so I got a new one, had it re-clocked (after I cut up my piping to try to make it work with the new turbo ). Now I just need to get the pipe welded back, and sort out my radiator situation. I'm running a subaru 2.5RS radiator right now, but have sourced an NX radiator locally, and I've got some GA16 fans I'm going to put on it.

Wheel bearings, bleed the brakes, and I should be good to go. But I'm sure something else will come up.

Has anyone ever had a JWT ecu have issues with controlling basics functions, like the radiator fans?

I had an ecu in a B13 where the fan circut was fried, you could turn the fans on via the signal wire for the relay, but the ECU wouldn't turn it on and it could see the temp was too high. It wasn't a JWT although, but it has the same circutry. Trace the wire colors to the appropriate coolant temp sensor and go from there.
