GT2871R + Wastegate? What Fits?
Yo,

So I got my 2871R today. It did not come w/an internal wastegate, so I have to find one. I'm not understanding how the wastegate fits on here. Do I have to buy the bracket or is this already the bracket?

You have to buy or make a bracket.

Yah, something like that.

The part you've taken a picture of on the turbo is part of the wastegate actuator bracket, but there are two parts to it.

The second picture you've posted in a 1-part bracket I believe. The wastegate actuator brackets of all the T2 turbos can get confusing. There are maybe 5-10 different ones based on which turbo you have and which way you're going to "clock" the turbo.

First decide which way you're going to clock the turbo, then start figuring out a bracket.

I assume clocked down. I'll be running a FMIC w/an Avenir manifold. Not sure what other criteria matters between clocking up or down.
