Rebuild of engine...

There is a kit being sold by nissan that encompasses all the seals, crankshaft, tappet, headgasket etc etc

This is the kit im looking for or does anyone know if the s13 or s14 kit would work ???

Not too sure about the other stuff, but I know the S13/S14 (RWD) SR20's have different headgaskets, you can't use a RWD HG on the FWD motors.

Oh, so you are confirming that a SR20DE seal kit would work on the SR20det Avenir W10 ?

Yes, FWD seal kit would work on a FWD/AWD SR20DET. IIRC, the seal kit doesn't come with a headgasket anyway? I've never ordered a complete kit before though, so I'm probably wrong there.

Personally, if it were me, I'd just upgrade/update a few components in the motor since I were cracking it open. Stronger headstuds, beefier headgasket, etc.
