Thread: Twin Disk Clutches?

yeah i understand that but was looking to compare prices, but i got what I was looking for. called competition and they couldnt find a twin disc for fwd-sr20 in there catalog so...

So who has the best prices on a Twin disc clutch for our cars ?? I wonder if I could just buy differant discs with the corect splines and make use of this one on ebay ???

Well I took car of that today .....

Did you just order a new set or what. Did you speak with Dan. Someone else hit me up for my flywheel and so its gone.

Well I thought I had it figured out ....now they don't have a throwout bearing for it they said would have to fab something to get OEM one to work

I can give you my throwout bearing from it. I still have that as well. All they do is provide a bearing to install into your original housing. Its pretty easy to do. I did it with my 6 speed swap. Just punch or press out the old one and push in the new. They said they went through like 6 different bearings before they found a correct one to work with our trans. I have the finalized one and he couldnt remember which one they used as their final one that worked.

So if you would like I can send you that one if you do order the clutch. Tell them its the bearing that comes out about 1/2" from the casing. They will probably remember just off that info. Its pretty unique in design. Or i can just send you it.
