Not really. I just need to provide him with the new part number so that he can pull it back into the system. Apparently the part number changed?

I can get clutchmaster twin disk setups for around $1300. Give or take, would have to actually do some math to figure out the prices.

If you ever plan to upgrade to the spec-v trans, you will have to get a new clutch. Just something to consider for the high hp cars.

What is nice abotu the 6 speed is the clutches for those are much larger. For my 6 speed I have a 350z clutch kit, exedy stage 2 and it will hold a **** load more than my act extreme did on the old trans. Engadgement is really nice to with the larger clutches. I am running the aluminum JWT flywheel.

The things I don't like about the S15 JWT flywheel is that you have to grind out the bellhousing to make it fit, it has more teeth on the ring gear than the FWD, and you have a 40 lb clutch setup. We are making a twin disc and a regular flywheel specifically for that application.

Why don't you just make a bellhousing?

a) you get to run a larger clutch
b) don't have to buy some goofy OEM bellhousing to adapt to the 6spd transmission.
c) profit.

You weren't around last year when I did this project! Unfortunately, I had no choice but use that larger flywheel. However, the part you cut isn't that bad and you can weld a patch to cover it back up. I really think that a custom flywheel/twin disc setup would be best though, I do agree with you there.
