Oh for the love of God, that DP is too nice to have just sitting around. =]

If you're going to ride around like that, maybe just unhook the wastegate actuator from the flapper and not worry about over boosting.

ok so i installed the new actuator..now when i first drive the car and hit boost, it would hit 15psi no problem.. after 2 pulls the car would only boost 11psi. whatever i set my boost controller it boosts slow as if the gain was turned all the way down and only 11psi..i checked for boost leaks none..can the actuator be getting to hot cause its to close to the mani? or can it be my boost controller?

Take the boost controller out of the equation and see what happens. Run the boost line right to the wastegate and see if you get consistent boost levels.

Sounds like a controller issue to me. I agree ^^^^

What pressure is the wastegate supposed to open?

when the boost controller is off its set to 7psi..and thats what the wastegate set too

Yah, if it's not a boost leak, then it's the controller.

But hey you're boosting now! =D

Theres always my method of takeing the boost controller out of the equation but I gotta suggest against it. If you didn't check your boost lines already I would think it has to be your boost controller. Mine still still stops at 11 psi for like a half second then it goes to 20, but it only does it on high boost, it works perfect on low boost at 15 psi.

ok update: i went to the dyno on saturday and borrowed my friends Manuel boost controller. on the dyno the car wouldn't go past 13psi no matter what adjustments i made. so that takes the b. controller out of the question. On the way home i decided to pull the act. wastegate line out to see if it would spike or hit more then 15psi. since i pulled the line the car would only boost 15.5 to 16.5 psi. so now i think i have to adjust the arm so it can close all the way.

BTw my car made 267hp at 240ish tq. my wideband says 10.8WOT @ 13psi i need to learn how to lean out my afc. /

You're probably right about the adjustable actuator arm.
