cracks around the waste gate port cause sealing issues which cause boost control issues. a good welder can take care of the waste gate port. you could also grind them out depending on how big they are. I was more concerned about the crack shown in the turbine housing. cracks just worse over time and that does not look like a spot that could be welded.
