what does the piston grade have to do with anything?

correct me if im wrong but if the block has a number 2 stamped on the deck surface and on top of the piston its a grade 2 piston...? like .020 over? and all cylinders arent that grade

pretty sure thats wrong(not 100% sure) somebody will chime in and for the build are you using arp main studs?

i was planning on using arp main studs pending further info that i requested from a friend of a friend. didnt know if they have the same issues as the headstuds. i got golden eagle b16a head studs coming in soon

main studs are fine but realize you will be getting into more machining because of them.

Also for the bearings I would use ACLs or clevite

what kinda machining are we talking about. yeah im going to mic out the crankshaft that im going to use just to be on the safe side but was going to go acl race series on everything
