b15 specv swapped sr20det
hey all im new to sr20s but not nissans. im getting tired of the lack of support and the qr25. ive decided im going to be swapping an sr20 motor and retaining the factory 6 speed transmission. im up in the air about exactly what im going to be doing with the motor (definitely turbo) build wise. idk i guess im looking to get some insight from some sr20 veterans. any help or advice is appreciated and ill be updating as this progresses

It's all the same basic stuff, you just won't be concerned with the VE specific wiring like cams and such. You won't need the tranny mount, but you will need a Mazworx axle carrier.

thanks man appreciate it. the motor is going to be rebuilt completely and depending on the condition of the cylinders i might have it machine and do darton sleeves. also for simplicities sake im going to be using a standalone for engine management. i dont trust anything other than that and im pretty familiar with the current one that im using on my spec v.

Or you could use a B14 Calum ECU

You also need a P12 bellhousing and S15 flywheel.

the bellhousing would be cheaper from Greg V. than having an adapter custom made.

^^^ Yeah, I was gonna mention the P12 bellhousing, but forgot about it. Do you "need" to use the S15 flywheel?
