Thread: Weird PLX wideband gauge issues.

i had my plx wideband for a few months now and it was installed right, ran perfectly up until like 3 days ago, i went to work and everything was fine, i got off at 4:30 in the morning and it was cold and i started up the car, and the gauge was just reading lean, i got on the highway and figured that the o2 just needed to heat up. nope still was reading lean.

i checked all the connections, cleaned the o2 connections, everything is fine.

the weird thing is like when i start the car it will read fine for a minute or 2 then i gradually goes to lean like 13.5 13.4 13.5 13.6 13.7 you get the idea all the way till it reads lean, which i dont get.

i read if the o2 is bad it will just read 14.7 or whatever, anyone ever have this happen?

my sensor sort of acts like that, but it doesnt act like that all the time, i would tihnk if the sensor is bad it would always act like that and not some of the times, like today i got in the car started it and the snesor worked great for like 30 mins before shutting it down, it didnt miss a beat and worked perfect. i donno
