I was going to say the same. I didn't change mine, but probably will if I ever do any work in there.
They will hold up to stock DET power but, once you start pushing more power, expect failures.
Gomba, I can assure you most people that have issues took shortcuts with their setups. Granted you can get a crappy motor, but if i you get it from a trusted source you will be fine.
