x2 didn't take mine out of my auto BB det.

And like Vadim said the dizzy only goes in one way so you don't have the motor TDC. You have it at the top of the exhaust stroke. As long as you lined up the timing chain to the right marks you should be fine installing the dizzy how ever it wants to fit in. If you didn't touch the cams and timing chain you should be fine. If you really want to install the dizzy TDC then line up the crank pulley mark to the 0* mark and pop the VC. you should see both intake and exhaust cam lobes pointing upwards on the nmber 1 piston. kinda like 10 oclock on the intake and 2 oclock on the exhaust IIRC.

Good luck and no worries.

Sorry to bring back an old thread but can someone elaborate a little bit on this swap? I plan on doing this swap in my '91 SE-R and as far as I know using the stock harness and Avenir ECU will work for a stock setup, I just did a VE and little things like passenger side motor mount on the motor itself needed to be changed, the coolant line pipes that run behind the thermostat needed to be swapped and a few sensors and what not, other than that is this a straight forward swap? I imagine it is since you're swapping a motor into a car that already came with a highport. Are Avenir's OBDII or OBDI? They started building them in '95 so that would indicate OBDII but I heard they weren't
