Thread: Couple DET Q's

Im finishing up my det swap and have a couple questions. What spark plug gap and timing are you det guys using? In the past i had a DE+t and i believe i used base timing and a .038 gap. Also after the car is setup and running on the new ecu (jwt 72@4bar cobra) im going to install a MSD ign/2step should anything change once thats in place?? Thanks alot

NGK BRK7E's with gap below .028. You will have to play with the spark plug gap until it doesn't blow out.

As for timing, a DET timing map will do you best, DE+T will be too weak hehe.
