I have read through all the posts and didn't see the question arise about A/C lines. Will this work if you still have A/C? It is a very tight fit. Any ideas on pricing yet?

Thanks for taking the time to do this project, god knows it was long over due for all of us.

Well, the jig is patterned after the stock unit so, as far as that goes yeah. I will make sure there is no problem with the "screamer" part though before I finalize the design.

Jig is done, just trimming certain edges to make sure I have good torch clearance for the TIG. I'm sending out the last stuff for the flanges as well. I might try and get this guy to change this flange a bit so I can recess the 3" pipe inside and weld it up easier. I want the best quality possible so everyone is happy.

Will the 1 piece be following shortly after the first o2 is fitted?

Somewhat yes....I'm going to aim to produce a couple of these, but as soon as I can get a car in to do a complete dp, then I'll do it. I'd say 3weeks or so for the O2's from this point, then about 3 more weeks to potentially have a complete dp jigged and ready to make.

I think we all have some set aside for this... oh and I'm first for the 1 piece. I just wanted to be included in saying what place we are.

I didn't know that list indicated an order, but if ya'll say so....lol. I think I stuck someone in there out of order is why I say that.

Anyway, I have some business to discuss with you guys about this thing. I've been speaking with my flange guy and we're going to redesign this flange a bit, but I've got a concern.

Well, due to the small size of the housing I don't see getting 3" plus a 1.5" dump into that area. The flange above is designed to have a 2.5" squeezed then have the dump recirculated. We are going to redesign it to seperate the two, but all the more reason I don't think 3" is possible.

As a 1 piece dp, I could likely do 3" by using 2.5 with a flare to 3" immediately after, but with the elbows the 3bolt flange isn't 3" either. So what's the solution here? Any opinions on how ya'll would like to see this happen? Is it acceptable to have these 2.5" with the divorced wastegate, then have the one piece dp's be full 3" with a flare just beyond the flange? I just don't forsee any 3" fitting into that small flange area is my reasoning.

Discuss....

My opinion... and this is only my opinion, I'm not speaking for anyone else...

The feasiblity of being 3" all the way from turbine to dp isn't that big of a deal to me... I think the important thing was the fact that this thing will BEAST the stock housing as far as flow regardless of what size it is... The important thing to me is that the inner walls of this piece is a lot more flow happy than the cast bumpy walls of the stock piece.

It would be nice if it flared from 2.5" (at the turbin-o2 housing face) to 3" (at the o2 Housing-Downpipe face) that would be cool... But, Simplicity and ease of fabrication (as far as the piece goes) is important, as it keeps the price down... Regardless of what you make... it will be better than the stock o2 housing...

Anyone else?
