Oh yeah....oh yeah....let's get this party started. I can't recall if I asked, but between your O2 housing and dp, is there a gasket? If so, where do you think I can source it....a dealership possibly or online somewhere? I need a gasket to get that made, or I'll have to do a trace of an O2 housing I get in hand.

Yes, there is a gasket...

I think that Greg V might be able to snag one (one of the vendor's on this, and sr20forum), Swiss made a real good point here about using a cheap 3" aftermarket gaskets as well... and boring out the holes a bit.

I have been using the generic compressed ceramic ones, because that has been whats available... ebay, atp turbo has the generic 3" gaskets too... guys??? What has everyone else been using.

I know there are a lot of t2_ and gt2_ turbo series people out there using a stock exhaust manifolds (bluebird & avenier/gtir). Since the t25 o2 housing fits both the bluebird, avenir, and gtir manifold (w/ small modif.), I think developing a t25 o2 housing to be used with each (elbow) is a great start. This way the market remains as open as it can be for all t2_ and gt2_ series members, and essentially, only one or two jigs are needed.

As far as a downpipe (o2 housing to cat), we have a few sources... well mainly one... but as stated above, with fwd sr20 people - A good price & decent quality always stands out above all.

Again, I don't want to speak for everyone - just speaking from my observations.

I'm with Tokes 100%. Most forum members have a combination of Bluebird/avenir/GTiR manifolds and turbos. And le'ts not also forget an 02 bung for our sensors.

You can put me in your list if this is going to be a direct bolt on piece.

Well I have discussed my interest via PM with him. So I think we have at least 4 definite interests... hopefully more though.

Well, I can use whatever works. The flange will just directly reflect the gasket used to design it. So if the gasket works enough, then the flange will. I just wouldn't mind having something exact.

So, to be sure I have this straight, there just basically has to be two different types of O2 housing flange then. The T25 style, and then the GT28 style. Then of course the "screamer" and recirculated types based on request. Are these the only combo's I have to worry about to serve everyones needs basically?

I believe the downpipe flange is a tiny bit rotated on the t28 flange...I'm trying to find pictures of how much the t25 o2 housing bolt hole needs to be opened up.

Gotcha covered. It doesn't take much at all:

Doesn't seem to make sense to get two seperate flanges made just for that small mod.

No Damian you won't need 2 different flanges, it only takes a minute with a drill or grinder to lengthen one hole to fit.

Yep I think you should start out with a direct replacement for the O2 housing. That seems to be whats in demand. People will be able to keep their existing downpipes which will keep the price down for them. Down the road maybe we can make a prototype full O2 housing/downpipe combo if there is interest.

Well....all I need is an O2 housing pretty much then and check out your bay to see what kind of clearance is available. Just a quick jig and I can start on the first one.
