Now isn't this the kettle calling the Pot black.................

Honda-Tech.com: Wheel and Tire: Horrible problem with ICB Motorsports for Neo Chrono....buyers beware!

Although I am quite disgusted at this situation, I had to laugh.

Apology accepted... please see my previous response. Please let me know when the refund can be carried so I can double check with my CC company that it cleared.

Thanks.

I've committed some refunds here to people, and I fully intend to honor those committments. Having been sick, I've basically not been to work at my shop since late September, and it's dealt a blow to my budget and bills. With that said, that is what complicated refunding those of you who prepaid. I have put up some parts and things I have for sale though, in order to generate some side income to make refunds possible.

As of last night I've sold some of those items and I'll insert those funds into my account to make them available to my credit card system which can then refund money.

I did all of this with good intentions, I just want all of you to know. Some things got in the way, and alot of mudslinging began on other sites as the result of ONE dishonest businessman. He never stated that I fully held up my end of the deal, he merely started the storm, got what he wanted....and then some, then left!

As a result of all this, my illness, and some other reasons I've made the decision to close my doors after 10 years. I've been independently employed for a very long time, and the lack of healthcare has honestly scared me deeply this time. I love this business, this industry, and building cars in general, but it's not worth my life, my health, and strain that this business can bring. Furthermore, I want my hobby back. I want the love for what got me into all of this back.

So, before going on a long rant or story, I just wanted to say nothing dishonest was ever intended here, please believe that. I wanted to help out the SR20 guys, and make you guys some good parts. I understand faith is lost, which is understandable, but please understand I only wanted to help you all. I WILL uphold my commitment to refund the three of you that pre-paid the discounted pricing for the units. In addition, I still DO have the one mockup unit that I'll complete (needs the divider placed) and sell to someone cheaply on here. From there I may PRE-fab some units then sell them, but I will take NO pre-orders. I will only sell what is completed.

If I haven't responded to any above threads or pm's, I'm very sorry. I've chosen to only respond and not read any of the posts above. Alot of my sickness, according to the doctors, is stress induced, and I really don't want to get worked up. I can only apologize, and make it right. When I feel a little better here, I'll return and post.

Until then, those of you that I owe refunds to, they will be coming, just please bear with me. Yes, I know, you've beared a bit already, but....

I'm sorry.

Damian, I've waited a long time without saying anything. Can I have an explanation about what's going on, if you could get back to me please give me a call or PM. If the product is not done and is not moving forward I would appreciate arranging having my money returned, It's on a credit card so that shouldn't be too hard to accomplish. No hard feelings with me, but, It's too late in the season to be sitting on that money when I could put it toward something else, especially given the time that was given.

Thanks,
Ameen

I've posted here, and committed to the refunds. If you start posting on other forums I do business, and start a frenzy of fear, then I'm going to go into bankruptcy. If you want refunded, don't start a storm that causes other customers with pending projects to panic. I have to incorporate this into my budget, and I'm working on it. I'll send the first one next week.

I still need someone to test fit this unit I have to at least confirm if my jig is set correctly for future use..

I'm just making sure everyone is up to speed on your business practices, at least if things fail, they can't say they weren't up to speed.

Well, I don't know what you plan to accomplish. I've got 10 years worth of satisfied people that can fully vouch for my business practices. We've had difficulties in this process, even to the extent that I've put aside some other commitments. I've strived to find mockup help, but was unsuccessful. I've not been evasive, I'm not running from this, changing my number, not posting, etc.

I've fully announced my intention to refund you, so why do you feel you'll be better served by going on other sites I do business, and bashing me, and stirring the situation. I still have active orders that are pending, and your going to send many people into a spiral of fear thinking that I'm some type of scammer here.

I'm just getting back on my feet here, I spent time in the hospital...I can scan medical bills for you if you like. The past three months have been very difficult for me, and it's not something I wanted to make known, but your clearly on a mission to destroy my business because we've had difficulty making these units.

I'd understand your motives if I were avoiding the situation, or evading contact, but that's not the case. I'm very actively attempting to catch back up with work, balance my bills, and get you refunded. What more do you want me to do? I'm here, I'm still going to go through with making these, and I understand your frustration. I assure you, if you drove your car into my shop, these would be made. I simply tried to prolong this process, in the hope that we could make definitive progress. I wasn't comfortable making units from pictures, and I'm not comfortable sending out items that don't reflect my ability and end quality.

I honestly believed that, since this were more of a prototypical process, that there would be some latitude. I could tell though, that the feeling here is rush, rush, rush. You were talking about going out of town and needing it, some were saying they were not driving their cars anywhere and leaving them in pieces pending the arrival of this unit, etc. I understand your concerns wanting to see a finished item, but you can't invest so much in one small piece.

It was my hope that, you drove your cars before these pieces, and you'd continue to drive them pending it's completion. Sure, I'd quoted timeframes in the beginning, and despite having learned this lesson in the past, I always try to think positive. I like to believe that things will go smoothly. The fact was though, there were obstacles. We lost the mockup car, the tight nature of the unit presented alot of challenge, but they all could've been overcome. The issue was, the door closed here. After three months payment, I was already being questioned as a scammer, or a con artist.

The point made above about taking one project at a time, it just isn't feasible. When you have overhead and bills to pay, you can't spend 3 weeks working on a prototype part or your bills go in the tank. Yes, I had to balance this with other things. Yes, I didn't hit timeframes I made assumptions about. Yes, I will refund those of you who want that. Will that happen quicker by going on every website you can, and make dedicated efforts to destroy my business, probably not.

I've never scammed anyone. I make right my wrongs, and I take responsibility for everthing I do. I've worked in public safety my entire life, first with the fire dept, then EMS for 8 years, then three police depts ending two years ago. I have done everything with honesty, but there are gonna be those people that feel wronged. There are going to be those that feel the need to trash a persons livelihood.

To address the post you thought was funny on Honda-Tech. I posted that because those people were blatantly rude, inconsiderate, and had no intention of solving my issue. I'm nothing like those people.

That's all I have to say, the hell with it.

Its funny you have alot of things to say now. But you couldn't once pick up a phone and address your customers a few weeks, few months ago. Hell we offered to do whatever possible to help you out. There was someone else local that was willing to bring by a mock up car, but we couldn't get in touch with you to pass that on. Why, because of lack of communication skills. Damian, your intention is probably not to scam people, by your unpolished customer service skills sure make it seem that way. It also reflects being rude and inconsiderate. My goal in posting was to make those aware of how we were treated. It was also to make you aware and hopefully you can make some changes. You know as well as I do, this isn't the first complaint and if you think it is, then you are sadly mistaken. If your poor business practices push people away, then it is only your fault and you are the only one that can change the situation. I have also worked in public safety for the past 13 yrs, but there are just as many dishonest people in that line of work as well. So my skepticism, comes with the job.

I didn't need the unit because I was going out of town, I was communicating as I said before. I knew that when the unit went out, it would need test fitting and feedback, which I couldn't do 100 miles away. You keep harping on this piece doesn't show your quality of work, blah blah blah. Don't have us confused with the Honda guys. If the piece fits and is functional, then we are happy. Its not like anyone could see the damn thing anyways, it is a mild steel unit which exhaust flows through.

I'm sure everyone interested in this piece was quite pleased to see that a unit of this type would finally be made. I guess if you can still accomplish that, thumbs up to you and good luck.

I'm done with this thread. Take care and I guess I will see my refund, when I see it.....
