You know what Damian, you have struck the last nerve with me. I'm quite sick of all the excuses that you come up with time after time. It is truly amazing that you must be the most over worked person on this planet. Your communication skills are so far below par, I don't even know what to call them. I think the people involved have been quite patient with you and your "busy beyond belief" work schedule. Last we heard from you almost 3 weeks ago, was that you had a couple more welds to complete out of the jig and the mild steel was ready for shipment. Well guess what, that time has come and passed and still noda. It is kind of hard to argue your communication skills, because as I see it, you can't argue based on the simple facts that the folks you are dealing with on this board have a complaint, along with whomever else out there you have dealt with in the past. Hell, the OP in the thread on pitt wasn't the only one to comment on the issues at hand. Now on to the money you have gotten from at least 3 members of this board... using a credit card processing machine that isn't in your name, unless you changed it to Rachel Cassidy.

If you choose to run your business like you do, thats your prerogative. But I am one of your customers and don't appreciate the treatment. You volunteered to take on this project and knew the issues involved up front. If that challenge has become over whelming, then maybe it is time to save face, refund money and move on. I am and I'm sure the others are tired of being strung along. Either way at this point, I don't care. You can refund my money, send me the product or continue on the path you are already on, but it will catch up with you. People say you do excellent work, all I can say is prove it, because right now, your actions speak louder than any type of product you can fab. You have an opportunity to make money hand over fist. Your call....

I don't actually have any cash in on this, which is surprising since I offered to pay in to further the development, thinking like Benito Malito that it might motivate him to have cash rolling in. I am still hoping against hope that he turns the piece out. We'll see. I think he should give Benito back his cash since there's really no hope of a DP at this point, to tell the truth. I also agree with Hybrid DET that he needs to admit it if he's overwhelmed and give people back some of their money. A thousand bucks is a lot of money to take from people and continue to string them along. I'm really just here on principle, and since it ticks me off that this guy is screwing my friends when it could just have easily been me.

I don't think he's out to rob anyone, I think he's just a skilled fabricator that sucks at running a business.

Sounds like the case, but in his ineptitude to run his business, will he also find that he doesn't have the money/time/ability to finish the product, thus screwing people due to apathy and inaction?

Basically. I'm still waiting to see if he actually come through, however. I hope so. If its quality s**t, its quality S**T. I dont mind waiting if i know its gonna be good at the end. But I dont have any money in like others, so I can only say so much.

Yeah mee to i waited i dont even know how long for vrs to make our cf hoods for the nx. It was over a year. So if this turns out to be a quality piece i will buy one.

detective?.... Did you even ask for you money back before now? before you involved the law? That's going to far, unless you had asked for it back and he ignored you or said no. If this is the case forget what i said. But damn, I'm sure there must be a better way to settle this.

i fab for a living; on cars, and this project is a 1 week project tops, jigs made and busting out units.
