Benito Malito, DO NOT POST ANOTHER PICTURE. If the picture has nothing to do with this thread I will delete it. If random pictures continue, the whole thread will be locked.

So, what is up with the product, Damian? I will be home friday afternoon. I expect for this to be waiting on me upon my arrival or will I be disappointed? I know you are busy and what not, but an update would be nice since you were allegedly almost done welding this over two weeks ago. There will be nobody @ my residence after wed, so I need to know if somebody checking on the house needs to look out for a package so it doesn't sit around outside or not get delivered. Since you worked for the police dept a few years ago, you can help a brother out....

This is beginning to make me wary of the eventual product. It's been however many months since the product was paid for, and weeks since the proto was promised, and it's still out there in Limbo. Do I even want to get money wrapped up in this deal? Damian, I own my own business too, so I know that you get busy, but if you start putting off your customers this badly, their gonna lose their confidence in you and look elsewhere. I know there are guys on here thinking that there's a shop in their area that could make this if they took the car down for a couple days. I know I have a couple names in my head right now... The flanges are readily available, etc... So what's up? Do you realize that you have over $500 of members' money that you have failed to fulfil promises over? Not cool in my book. Restore our faith please.

^ from reading that this thread should be locked to prevent anyone farther from losing money on this whole ordeal. from the readings multiple people indirectly or directly said his busniess is less than PAR, even if he does do good work, reguardless, its unprofessional to leave people hanging like everyone interested in this item, and if its taken him THIS long to produce a prototype, i couldnt imagine how long it would take for him to produce multiple items for mulpile people. im not bashing the dude i dont know him and ffrom the prototype, his work looks great, but from going to that site and seeing multiple people say negative comments in the way he runs his busniess i couldnt forsee how the sr20 mods could let this go farther to the fact that multiple members could have possibly gotten ripped off or may become ripped off. thats just my take...its just opening up people to being taken for a ride

No, keep the thread open so we can have communication about what is going on.

he didn't want me to post up on here, but i'm gonna anyway. i talked to him on honda-tech. he says the first unit is done as of a couple hours ago. he didn't seem to want to give me a commitment on a ship date, but says it's done. he says he's got too much going on to chat on here. he says nobody is getting screwed, says that everything will be completed.

I'm not gonna read through all of this, but end the rumors, and end the snowballing of bad information.

The Pittspeed bull**** doesn't deserve the bandwidth is consumes. I agreed to make a manifold for a rich ass guys 14 year old son, who has a far more built car than 80% of the members here. These people have their own personal dyno, and offered me dyno time to make a mani for cost. I accepted the deal and began making it. I made two manifolds after being told the son didn't want to run a half rad.

Problem was that Dad didn't communicate with son, who I'd been talking to on Honda Tech. He went onto Pittspeed, a site dedicated to a shop that is local competition to me, and asked if a was a scammer because I hadn't returned his call. I'd talked to his son several times though. The site doesn't allow me to post on there, so I couldn't respond to anything. I finished the manifold for him, and it's been long delivered.

Not only did he not pay the cost of the manifold, he has also stated he'd not honor the dyno time offering because it took me three weeks longer to make the manifold than I'd estimated. He also stated that, for my sake, he'd post that he'd received the manifold and he hasn't. He's a rich piece of garbage, and his son is spoiled rotten...plain and simple.

The o2 housings have been complicated because of the tight bend radius. I've been through several designs and have rebuilt this unit multiple times. I personally am not happy with the current unit, it doesn't reflect my quality, and I'm unsure of fitment because of the lack of a mockup car. Today I had my MIG guy finish the areas that couldn't be reached with the TIG.

The next unit will have to be further redesigned in order to reach all the areas with the TIG. This is the reason I started with the mild steel unit. The piece is done, except for the divider. I'm going to have to estimate the size/width/depth of this piece.

This is very unorthodox to design parts this way, this is why the process has taken so long. You don't build parts from pictures because they don't fit right when your done. This is the case here, and all we can do is hope for the best.

Please, stop posting inaccurate information about money I've taken. Hybrid DET, I wasn't aware that you had access to my credit card processing account so that you can make statements quoting monies I've received. Your highly overestimated assumption of what I've received is grossly inaccurate, so edit your post.
