I could do a vband at the end, that wouldn't be too much of an issue at all. We talked about that before, in reference to doing full downpipes with a vband connection at that location anyway. It'd add cost, but my jig can accomodate that.

For reference I'm online at this time from my shop looking at some pics. I should hopefully have this finished today mockup wise, then just need to weld it. Welding will likely have to come saturday, because I have to meet up with a client for my other business tomorrow. So, hopefully I can have this done and ready to ship Monday at the latest. I'm just checking pics here to hope to make this thing fit.

hmm, well I'm going external gate. can you make a J pipe a full 3" since you don't have to worry about the screemer/wastegate pipe?

You mean 3" directly from the outlet of the turbo? If so, then no, not if you are seperating the gate, there's only room there for a 2" - 2.5" flare. Basically a full downpipe would be a standard o2 housing like I'd make for anyone, then the downpipe would flare up to 3".

Got the mockup just about done here. Doing some tacking now. I had to use a stainless dump cause somehow I'm out of mild stock right now

So, you get a half mild half stainless setup

Can anyone measure the depth from the surface of the flange on the turbo down into the turbo so I can make an estimate on the divider? The more accurate the better.

I need a mockup turbo in the future to make the divider tight enough that leakage is minimal. Bump for info if anyone can get it for me.

On my T28 Its about 15/16" or ~21-22 mm to the level where the wastegate flapper sits. That's with the copper gasket. The actual turbine blades are another cm or so. I didn't measure that depth.

Thomas Reynolds showed me how you can move that A/C line by placing thick washers behind the a/c compressor or bracket to angle the compressor forward, aiming that low pressure line away from the o2 housing. It is a nice little trick.

If it is a little bit too large I think that is okay too... it's better than being too short, because it can always be shaved down once test fit.

Anyone see any issues with this in terms of interference?

Looks very nice... I don't have any problems with it. The only people it may be tight for are the people running the "avenir" setup style w/ their compressors pointing down w/ larger radiators. I think it will be tight (within an inch or so), but it looks like it will work.

If you need any measurements, Damian, let me know. Once I get the stainless one I will double check any fitment issues for the people running their setup with the compressors pointing down and with a larger radiator and fans. Please let me know before you send, I don't know if you remember but a while back I had a different request on the two different type o2 bungs.

Thanks for the update pic.
