Communication is always good. I don't think Damian is on the forum all the time, so if someone can let him know there is help locally that would be movement in a good direction. If we do everything we can to make things easier, I'm sure the end result of this will be a good one.

In the past, getting these produced in the U.S. has died out... Let's do what we can to prevent that from happening again.

Damian, did you see this post?

Did you get my phone messages?

Call me, 502-718-1700.

I'm going to use Ameen's pictures and just make an end product. This is the only choice, so this is what I'm going to do.

F*ck it, most of us can't wait to see how this turns out. You will have plenty of sales. Us N/A guys are looking forward to your header also, we all definitely appreciate the interest in our small market.

You are cool and I feel you trust me. I want a header too.

Actually I have loot in this. So do others. Damian is still working with us, and I have had other offers to address this locally as well. I have not asked for my money back because I feel that this guy will give us something good.

Maybe there is a lack of local enthusiasm, but Damian is still supporting us.

The look may change slightly from one to the next, but all will follow the same concept. The radius just couldn't be done with standard mandrel bent tubing, so a little moto-x flavor had to be thrown in.

Once the dump gets jigged here this one will go out. The mild steel one is pictured. Basically I'm hoping to just get quicker making them once I have the basic concept down. I spent alot of time not thinking about this one, nearly as much as the next several that need made. I have a pretty good design approach from here despite not being able to jig each cut.

So, once I can be sure the dumps won't hit anything, these will go out. With Matt's car here the dp's will get made as well.

Spy pic with jig blurred....haha. You can see the 2"-2.5" transition, and how tight the bend was. In the end, I feel alright about it. Has that motox dynamax feel.

Would anyone be interested in something like this?

Damian,

if you need any more pictures of anything please feel free to give me a holler... These are the latest that I have... Keep in mind I think there is one guy locally (waltg) that may be able to come over and help you fit things. But regardless of what you do just know that there is help...

If you need anything please feel free to give me a call, and I'll do what I can - take measurements, pictures, video, etc. I left you a message with my cellphone number if you need it. I'm sure everyone else is willing as well.

I have no issues with patience, the only problem I am having right now is that how come Damian can't answer his phone, return phone messages or at least keep us in the loop. Hell we have been trying to tell him for a week now that someone else is available near him for fitment issues. I don't get it, poor communication is not a good thing and right now I'm very displeased with that issue. I have left 3 phone messages, none of which have been returned or even acknowledged.......

I have also had problems being acknowledged. It is frustrating to pay for something and not receive communication. I hope he addresses this with you directly.

Ok, this is getting a bit out of control here. I've consistently come on here to answer all the questions I can. I've posted several times in the past weeks here. I waited for Matt, and he is apparently unavailable. I'm going to have to just go off of pictures, but that could potentially lead to more lost money on my end.

Understand, I get about 30-70 phone calls a day, and this is all while I'm trying to work in the shop. Most people who call aren't leaving messages (yes, Mike I got yours), but overall it's a matter of time management....I'm maxed out. If I answer the phone all the time, I'll be on the phone all day.

I'm going to finish the first dump and send it out. If it doesn't fit, then yay, it comes back to me, and I work double the time. That's what it's come to though, so that's what it's gonna be.

I understand, the three of you that paid, have paid for an item. I did sell that item at a HIGHLY discounted rate, considering that there is a potential for issues. To kick out a full production product within 3 months is never easy...and if it's within 6 then I feel good about it. I put the time in getting flanges designed, getting materials purchased, getting this and that, but now some of you are already talking about other shops.

If you come to my shop and want a one off piece, that's simple. If thirty people want it, and you all want it for the better of the SR20 community, then there has to be some perseverance. Everyone calling me at once isn't gonna make the process any faster, it's only going to put more strain on an already strained situation.

I'm going to finish the one mockup in mild, and send it out for test. If it fits, then I'll build the other the same, and jig the dump while I'm at it. As far as the dp goes, if that local mockup car is available I can do it, if not then I'll send a refund.

the end

I don't think any of us have issues with time constraint. It seems the other piece of the puzzle that brought you on board has now flaked out of the picture, which brings us to where you/we are now. There are real enthusiasts and then there are weekend wannabe's. Hell if I lived closer to you, this o2 housing would already be in production and the downpipes wouldn't be far behind. We all know this particular item hasn't ever panned out for us sr guys and we DON'T need or want to see this go down the same road. Ameen posted up some good pics and there is also another pic of another setup with the dump routed back into the downpipe. I just need to know when this will go out so i can prepare to pull the turbo/manifold setup off the car and begin tests. Hang in there with us, we will get you over the top, no pun intended. Because I'm not a weekend wannabe...
