So, what's the mod when going from the T25 to the Gt28 that I've heard about? The housings look the same in pattern.

It looks to me like if I can just source an O2 housing I can jig that and start making these...I don't necessarily even need an entire car. How tight is the area surrounding the O2 housing when mounted on the turbo in the car?

The only difference b/n the t25 housing from the t28 is the is the bolt hole on the bottom left in this picture (on the turbine housing flange). The rest of the bolt holes line up, but that one is a couple millimeters off. What people usually do is bore the hole slightly to make her fit over the hole and then wa-la. I believe the downpipe flange is a tiny bit rotated on the t28 flange.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys... but that's what I saw when I tried to mate my t25 o2 to my t28.

I'm trying to find pictures of how much the t25 o2 housing bolt hole needs to be opened up.

Haha... I see your bolt-hole

Yes Ameen you just enlarge one of the holes slightly and the t25 O2 housing pops right onto the t28 and the other t2x variants.

Damian, I have a spare housing that I can drop by for you to use as the jig. We can also take a look at my car to see the room available around the housing while I'm there.

Good good good....that's exactly what I need to get started here.

I have the T25 flange here, so all I need is to get the GT28 style. I'm sure that's already available from one of my flange guys.

EDIT: Yep...just checked with one of my flange suppliers...
