Ahhhh...the waiting game....waiting for flanges. I'm at the mercy of the flange pimp....

Keo....is that someones personally built setup or something someone sells?

I can't take credit for building it. I actually got it off ebay real cheap. It wasn't totally finished though. I think it was a speed shop doing something for a customer and then they bailed out on it. I just had to finish the "divider" part and I did the v-band part.

Anyhow, the v-band flange is really nice for a full DP. I drop my manifold/turbo/downpipe in as one piece, then connect the downpipe from below. Mine isn't AC compatible by the way. Making one AC friendly will be pretty tough, but it can probably be done.

Please put me on the interested list for a full DP. I have another project car I'm going to begin work on soon.

So these screamer type o2 housing actually leak all the time or when the actuator does its thing to release unused pressure???
I am thinking about buying one but dont entirely understand the physics so this divorced style on manifold can be used for the T25 and T28 garrett turbo's?? for better response and overall flow???

An internal wastegate opens to divert exhaust energy around the turbine, which stabilizes turbine speed and the boost pressure that results. When the flapper opens, that bypass creates turbulence and backpressure at the turbine outlet, which in turn costs you power. With turbo's the less backpressure you have, the more power you make...it's pretty cut and dry.

By "divorcing" the wastegate from the turbine outlet, your allowing each to flow on their own. With better wastegate flow, you get improved boost control and less possibility of creep. With the turbine outlet/dp on it's own, that reduces backpressure and allows the turbine to extract more energy from the exhaust, which in turn means more power.

Either "divorcing" it and releasing it to atmosphere, or "divorcing" it and recirculating it downstream, both accomplish removing the wategates bypass from being right at the turbine outlet where it impedes flow.

Well, I just signed the paperwork tonight, and it looks like I'm not moving until somewhere towards the end of the month.

The location works because I have customers in Uniontown (that's where I started initially), plus I know alot of guys in greensburg. The building is 35min from Monroeville, 15 min from Greensburg, 40min from my house, 20 min from Uniontown. So it's fairly centrally located for the people I serve. It's in Mt. Pleasant in case you want to see what kind of hike it would be, were you to come out one day. I believe it's 737 W. Main St.

Mt. Pleasant isn't that a bad drive for me, about 40 miles. I live close to exit 48 on the T-pike so I can just jump on there and exit at 75, New Stanton.

Yep...yep...

At first I thought, man that's out there, but when I really considered it it made more sense. 30-45 minutes to get to mani's, the Honda tuning I do, swaps, and other stuff isnt bad. I mean, people drive all the way to Indiana to go to Slowboy.

Yeah, it'll work pretty well I think. I have full security going in too! I have Axis 2420 IP server camera's with motion and IR detection. I'll sit at my house and watch the shop...if it detects motion it automatically emails my phone and begins recording still and full motion to both it's internal hard drive and an online ftp. SICK!! My friend got it from his company that had it on a job site...they didn't know what it was worth and told him to just take it. Just the camera itself is 1400.00, plus the IR lense and all the other stuff...lol.

Everyones O2 housings and downpipes will be safe and secure until shipment

Two weeks....three tops for the first one to be getting done and pics posted. The flanges are lingering with a little long in getting done, but they'll get done. Soon....soon.
