Thread: what turbo is this!!!!!!!

ok guys,
i just recently had gotten this turbo for close to nothing from some young kid. it has a 42 comp housing and a 1.15 turbine housing...its a garrett turbo. this thing looks so weird. can anybody give me an idea of what turbo this is. i tried searching and found nothing. im going to try and have pics up tomorrow. the turbine housing is almost double the comp housing. thanks to anyone who helps

dumb noob question but how do you think this go over on a ve?? and how do i tell what flange this is?

Its not a noob question lol idk im not a big turbo guy but I think not good. Your gonna need alot of exhaust gases to get that thing spinning

I think thats too big of a turbo for a ve.

not a big turbo. small turbo with a big exhaust housing. meant for an engine that doesn't rev high, and needs to spool the turbo almost right away, ie. a diesel.
