i am curious how it turns out. the twin scroll and high compresion should help spool the big turbo. but the i dont know how well the holset will flow at low boost.

i want dyno #s

good luck should be fun

what engine management will you run?

I can tell you for sure that the holset isn't going to like low boost, especially if you're trying to run the stock wastegate. Boost creep and boost spike are highly likely.

Don't forget that the holsets generally run .8~1bar of boost from the factory on large displacement diesel motors.

the rods are much to small/weak in the ve for big boost ! 300whp i would say is the max id run safely..

Not to start the same debate as always but multiple sources have run over 300 without issue on the stock ve rods.

I wouldnt go so far as to say that, but ill definitely defened that the size as people view being the weakness isnt the determining factor in the strength of a rod. Just because its skinnier than the DE doesnt by any sense mean that it is feeble.

LOL yeah I did bend it quite good. But Ive had the two rods side by side and they are identical. This was a VE rod and a lowport.
