i agree with this statement fully.. but is that a reference to cast iron design only? or like the manifold we have here which is a highly improved design then the stock cast. i see where your arguing but like a protech manifold.. isnt correct either... the turbo is closer to two runners an the others are further away... so that manifold too would have somewhat of turbulence. see what im saying.. most turbo manis have unequal lengths so most would have turbulance... i like the manifold but i like having things below the valve cover. thats just me.. but yea im agreeing with what your syaing about the turbulence but i agree with out the door on the floor policy too. only leaks would cause unbeneficial turbulence.
Im questioning how technical this actually needs to be for the needs of a forum like this......I know 99% of this community is do it yourselfers that daily drive their nissans, they are very few precision engineered race cars on here that need to maximize with the utmost efficiency because it could mean you lose or win. There needs to be an attitude and production of excellence, but who freaking cares about this turbulence and this minuscule amount of energy being lost. Idea......turn up the boost a 1/2 lb, there problem solved. Secondly there are not that many people on here who want to pay that high dollar amount for rediculous r&r on these manifolds.........now if we all drove F-1 cars where 1-5hp would make the difference in our paychecks, than this is valid. But since we don't, and it does not matter than I don't care.
My opinions......which Im not saying anything bad about anybody or there arguments, cause there is some good tech stuff on here for those that don't the physics of how these manis, Exhaust gases work and such.
But the mani shown is full EQL and looks SWEET!!!!
