problem is most of them are for rwd and will involve hacking and you dont want that. I would do a bigger turbo and that will be plenty.

I would talk to Charles about a tubular manifold if you're looking to upgrade.

I do agree with the stand alone, as well. Quite a bit more power to be made, all else equal.

stratton get a 2871r and possibly a ve head that will make for a very responsive turbo with alot good top end power. if the ve is not ur cup of tea then just stick woth the 2871 or possibly one of those iccon turbos thats f/s around on here

standalone is completely out of the question.

the cars management is pretty spot on considering the power im making with a t28.

tekkie im refering to the ebay shorty tubular gtir bolt on mani's for 300 bucks from ebay.

yall know im not cheap, but i can in no way justify a 1000 equal length mani that isnt going to put out much more power, when im only running a 718r you know. plus id have to change my intercooler pipe set up wich i love, along with my dp etc etc.

just trying to keep it fairly simple with proven parts and a few tricks here and their .

thanks for the advice fellas !

i agree i am all for the push to a stand alone when its needed but its obvious that the tune and ems are spot on and got you to where you need to be so upgrading would be useless.

i also agree that i cant see the justification of spending 1000 on a tubular manifold, IMHO i like my Log manifold with my 2871r really reaponsive, gives great low end to mid range power. tubular are nice, but just too much money.

if you went with the 2871r and got a intake manifold i think you would be golden.

so why are you using 2 computers for something 1 computer can do and a LOT better?

lets not get carried away.

a standalone ems isnt going to pull much more power out of my car now.

ive had my jwt ecu since 03.

ive had my safc2 for close to two years sitting in my garage.

why wouldnt i utilize it.

im not going to be able to sell the jwt ecu for much.

why would i spend over a grand on a new ems when what i have now works extremelty good.

If I were you just get someone to do a good port to the OEM manifold and get a T2 .86 GT3071 and (port the EX housing and the O2 dump)and get the biggest intercooler setup you can get on the NX an a retune on the dyno with your JWT setup and you have a solid 400whp car...
You already have cams rigth??

I spoke with someone from jwt about using the safc and i was told it is ok to a certain point. They said you shouldnt change things to much but some little corrections wouldnt be a problem. Im planning on doing the same thing just curious to exactly how much tuning can be done safely with the jwt+safc?
