Thread: finally dyno tuned my turbo nx2k !!

its a t28. lil guy lol.

im thinking a 02 intake mani or something similiar will yeild huge gains, at the same psi, on my t28.

am i correct in assuming this ?

or can the air the t28 even at the same 15psi not move enough air to supply a 50whp gain ?

id think you would see some gains across the board with a intake manifold, but to truly take advantage of it, i would definitly upgrade the turbo, however those are exceptional numbers for a t28

bigger turbo and eql exhaust mani and your golden. The stock intake manifold has been proven for huge power without changing it but I love my 02

you guys are right.

the car is nasty as it sits now. top end is soooo much better, the power comes on so much smoother and i can feel the 23whp for sure.

according to jr theres a few ways i can go.

-headgasket and bigger turbo
-headgasket ve head
-headgasket ve head bigger turbo

i think i im leaning towards head gasket and a bigger turbo. something like 718r bolts right on some head studs and make 380whp all day.

im going to enjoy the car as it sits now, and bid my time until my cf hatch gets here ! then ill see what im gonna do.
