we only got the ca18et in the u.s. in the 200sx(s12). japan had the ca18det in the s13.

They can be purchased and swapped, for the most part people dont do it because the sr20det is far superior and has much more aftermarket support.

my pal just bought one it a right hand drive so i guess it's japan... you know way we could find parts for this motor?

parts are not that hard to come by they made so many of these motors. what do you need? just remember you can use many of the ca18de and et parts.
