In order to get the 4.17 FD in a B15, P11 case you need the output shaft from P11 or B15 QR18 trany and the ring gear from a B13, B14, P10 or P11 differential....

Right, so what about the 4.058 FD from the P10?

^^^ I think it not possible since there its no output shaft available to match that 4.058 FD in a B15,P11 case

Well back to the drawing board, then

Looks like a custom 4.0 FD gear is going to have to be made...

You can not use the the 4.058 FD mostly because it has a diffrent bolt pattern. The LSD and Non LSD ring gears are not interchangable either

Dre, I don't have any visuals on these FD's I'm considering. How different is the bolt pattern? Is it even remotely possible with some metalworking to get it to work? I assume the P10 is LSD, and the B15 I'm picking up is also LSD.

Look in my thread for the QG18 stacks. The Non-lsd has half as many bolts holding it to the diff.

I am not sure, but it looks like it may be possible to use the non-lsd ring gear and hold it on with half as many bolts. But this is just by eye-ballin it. They could be completely way off.

Thanks Coheed, I'll look into it when I get a chance. Sure would be nice if the lancer ralliart had adaptable gearstacks I know they're 4.058 FD and I can get a stack cheap as hell here!

At a minimum, at least the spreadsheet is now available for everyone so that they can play with tire/wheel sizes and see how it affects their overall rpm/mph.
