Thread: which knock analyzer to buy?

Hy guys,

I am looking for a good knock analyzer in order to complete my mapping tools.
I looked around on internet and find a few of them. The all seems to have similar specs, but I have no direct experience with them and don’t know which is best bang for buck.
So far I found the following products:

Gizzmo K-mon
The knock box which is also sold by Motec,Wolf,Haltech ( so should be good’)
Phormula knock analyzer pro.

They all come with the knocking sensor and headphones, with the knock box being the more expensive among them and the Phormula the cheaper one.
Wonder if someone had experience with those tools. I just want to purchase the best one.

I think msd sells a knocklite that just flashes when you hit knock. I like these boxes and one of my friends has used it for years with very good results. He relies on water/meth to keep knock at bay and this lets him know when he needs a refill lol.
