dont like the merge collector, and the price is way too high for the quality

Well, here are my thoughts, not that it matters.

The exhaust pulses go through the collector at different times, so the collector size shouldn't affect power too much. Also with longer runners the "pairing" of the cylinders won't matter as much also. The longer runners should alleviate a lot of reversion issues.

The thickness of 2.2mm is what makes me worried. I prefer as close to 3mm as possible, or at least a 2.7mm SCH 10 to prevent cracking. Maybe with a teeny turbo it won't be so bad?

The merge collector is still decent. Has anyone even looked at the stock manifold collector? Still not the best design.
