replace them with jgs tools 40mm gates and be done. this is what will be on my vet setup.

ive had my used tial 38mm gate on there now for my entire setup and never had a problem at all. Strange

These are the new V38s. They are smaller by a lot. They came out about a year ago. Talked to ATP today and they said to send them back so they can inspect them and get me new ones.

I still need to find out why my turbo likes to dump oil into my intercooler. Free oil cooler right? lol. I think it may be from blowing off couplers and the turbo overspeeding or something.

your probably right because i though my compressor side oil seal blew because i had a bout a 1/4" of in and out play in my turbo and after i blew my pipe off my turbo the oil was spraying everywhere out the compressor side. Then i put the pipe back on and all was good. I think when its on it holds pressure on that side. I still dont think it should be leaking out even with no pipe but no pipe on there probably didnt help it any.

But i rebuilt my turbo anyways so all is good to go like brand new now. lol.

weird because I noticed this new CHRA had some thrust play in it. And sometimes my BOV doesn't open when at low rpm so there is just a little bit of flutter. Not anywhere near worrisome levels though. Perhaps there is too much play and it is causing oil to spill out.

I've lost about 1.5 qts in the last 1000 miles. Granted, there is some very heavy driving on it, but there isn't any blue smoke behind the car. I am going to take my intercooler piping off and see how much crap is in there. I bet I will be surprised.

Pics worth a thousand words. But one comes to mind. Junk. lol. The other one seems just fine, and ATP is going to warranty them out hopefully. And now I just cross my fingers that it won't happen again!

Got them both ready to go back tomorrow. This leaves me driving the wife's car now. Sigh.

Well the good news is that I found out there is a lot more left on the table with a tune. So a new intercooler will be getting fitted soon, and a calum realtime will be sought after. Then I will have courtney green tune it since he likes tuning hondas so much. His other tunes are making rediculous power.

He tuned one of by friends celica to 700whp, and several other cars to 900+whp. The only VE motor he has tuned makes awesome power on a simple setup. 410-420whp on 15psi.

??? Who knows. But there isn't a lot of really hot stuff going on. The turbine is still black, and normally when EGTs get out of hand they will turn bright white. There is a little discoloration, but nothing out of the norm.
