91mm stroke at 7,500 rpm gives average piston speed of 22.75 m/s and 27.3 m/s for 9,000 rpm.

If you're worried about piston speed there is your data. Instantaneous piston speeds are about 170% of the average piston speed. Speed of sound is 343 m/s for reference.

Good read. Thank you much

Also, with the 6sp swap, I tried searching to see if it's been asked before, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if the Spec V axles and B14 axles are the same length, and if they have the same inner tripod? If yes to both, wouldn't you just be able to use the inner section of the Spec V axle that splines in the tranny, then mate the B14 axle at the inner tripod? If that would work, you wouldn't have to swap the hubs. I'm just not sure if it would work or not.

I'm not sure, but the Spec-V ones look quit bigger. Why don't you want to swap the outers too? If it's the bolt patter, you can just send use the hubs and we can remachine them for the right pattern.

We designed an adapter plate similiar to our SRVG (RWD) for the QR Spec-V trans. So for the ones that don't want to wait for the P12 bellhousing, you will just have to pop of the QR housing and send it in. It may come cheaper too. But will post pics of the finished product once machined.

Also, we are making a clutch setup similiar to the DEs with the 215mm disc. But the splines will accomodate the larger shaft and the flywheel will be proper for the setup. This will be a better option for the all motor guys.

is this adapter plate and clutch setup still in the works? i'm trying to figure out if i'm better off buying the p12 bellhousing, or using the existing spec-v 6spd bell housing and using this adapter plate since it seems like a cheaper solution according to your post. it's already a tight fit with the p12 bellhousing, do you happen to know the fit with the adapter plate? also what's the proposed setup since the starter on the spec-v bellhousing is located on the opposite side? do we have to purchase a QR starter?

what's the ETA for the release of the complete set of mounts and brackets as well as the adapter plate and clutch setup?

The main reason is for the bolt pattern, but I just wasn't sure if it would work or not, because that would've been easy. Machining isn't a big deal, but swapping inner's on the CV's is something I could've done. Plus, wouldn't you have to change the brakes too? I've got AD22 brakes now, and if I don't have to change them I don't want to.

We can actually start taking pre-order production on the 6spd parts now. The link is posted below and let us know if you have any questions.
