Thread: t28 back housing

i have a t28 turbo... the back crack so im leakin boost..... i put on a smaller housing on that turbo.... question what's my advantage & disadvantage

leaking boost? or leaking exhaust?

If you put a smaller exhaust housing on then you will def lose power all-around. The loss will be more severe if you are running larger cams than stock.

yes leaking boost because the backend of the turbo crack

with the smaller back end it making power up to 6 thousand rpm

small turbine housing will spool quicker but will give less top end power
