Wow, I'd run one of these on my VE if possible. Have one that will be there for boost on demand basically. Run basically 9psi on a VE and just tune it. Sounds nice to me.

Well Ran the 1/4 last night. I'm extremely impressed. My last time BEFORE the super went on the car was 15.27 @ 89 MPH

I had header, custom exhaust, short intake, port matched JDM intake mani, timing advanced as far as the distributor goes (dunno whats up there but I get best power and no boom) and gutted interior. Other than that Pretty stock. No engine internals touched.

As you know I have the super set up on an electronic clutch and I have a bypass valve rigged up and everything I wanted to see how much slower the car was. My first run was without the charger on and it still ran a 16.0 @ 88mph, not bad, plenty of pep to get around town with.

Then I hit the fun button for my next runs. I was predicting 14.5 based on feel compared to other cars that I have been in/driven.

By best time was a 14.06 @ 98.25 MPH with a 2.11 60ft. The tires spin uncontrollably in 1st, and you can see that reflected in my 60 ft time. I'd like to get that down under 2.0 with some better tires.

All in all I shaved 1.2 seconds of my 1/4 on an untuned 8lbs of boost. So excited right now!!!

BTW anyone know what a turbo sr20de will do in the 1/4 on 8ish psi??

its hard to say what a sr20de would do at 8lbs, it all depends on the mods, turbo cams ect....you could compare it to a stock sr20det engine though.

and theres no way you spun "uncontrollably" and got a 2.1 60ft

In first gear I pin the revs at redline if I full throttle it so, yes, I can control it by pushing the throttle less. I was trying to illustrate that it doesn't even fight for grip in first unless I take it easy.

Most expensive part of the whole build was the welder

500 mig welder with 150 for spool gun to weld aluminum

But I won't count the welder

500 supercharger
200 intercooler kit w/ 2" piping
50 3 inch piping
40 bov
40 wastegate
100 Calum ecu with chips
60 injectors
40 maf

1030 plus other extras belts, hoses odds and ends etc. prolly 1300 in total.
