synapse engineering 40mm wastegate
RacingWorks.com Synapse Engineering 50mm 40mm Wastegate

Has anyone on this forum used this.. I'm deciding between this or 38mm tial v band. It's hard to find real people reviews on this and not vendor reviews.

I used a Synapse 50/40mm before and it worked great. Real nice having the integrated boost controller right on the unit. After swapping springs and adjusting the pre-load screw, I had no need for a boost controller.

synapse makes good stuff. I was going to use that waste gate but decided to use the jgs tools unit instead because of the size.

i havent personally used the synapse unit, however if you take into consideration it has the intergrated boost controller, and by all means IMO a integrated boost controller is alot more accurate than a manual boost controller or a electric controller as it is working with the engines vacuum to pull the valve, so IMO the integrated is not only a reliable source for boost controller but it also saves you money on a boost controller which will run you a decent ammount of money if you get a good one, so not only do you get a wastegate but a boost controller, so it kills 2 birds with 1 stone

I have the 40mm, and I love it. I have been able to change my boost levels as I wanted more power without having to deal with changing springs. I was so impressed I bought the synapse BOV too.I recommend them both.
