while the fact they he may or may not be able to achieve 500whp at 24psi, it is possible that would would see greater gains overall, i definitly think if you went with a aem ems unit, that overall you would see the gains you are looking for but have yet to see. if you are just running a jwt ecu, the numbers might be close , but having the ability to tune on the fly certain parts of the fuel and iginiton maps, esp with the vet cams i think it would be well worth the money spent

I don't know why everyone still insists on doing pulls in 3rd gear. You need to do pulls in 4th gear, since it is the closest to the 1:1 ratio.

I've done MANY dyno pulls now and I explain to the owner of the car why the car needs to be dyno'd in 4th. They ask me to do one in 3rd and one in 4th, and the difference is easily 15~20whp, and likewise with wtq.

If you want it to be accurate, dyno in 4th.

you must not have read my comments about the .86ar T2 GT3071r flowing more on the exhaust side than even a .82ar GT3076r. Even though the T3 GT30R series has a larger T31 turbine, the corrected turbine flow is still less.

I would like to make a good responsive 400whp daily driven car. It's what I have always wanted. Even on the log manifold at 19psi it was barely at 400 on pump gas, and it was on the ragged edge.

I showed courtney green my datalogs and he said he would keep it rich, and the timing map was the only thing keeping it from detonating on the boost I was running.

I realized best power on the dynojet when I was in 4th gear, it was about 10whp max though. I have never dynod in 4th on the dynomite.

14psi GT30R .78 ar housing.

This is on a dyno dynamics? But power is nearly identical to mine, and this is an sr20det. Take into account elevation... and very unimpressive results.

If anyone knows anyone who will trade straight across for a .78 divided housing for a .82 or 1.06 let me know lol.

here's a thread with some other tuners supposedly having issues with this housing.

with a turbo car you should always do a 4th gear pull. I only use 3rd on n/a cars.
