Atp carries the correct waste gate and bracket. They also have really good customer service.

Alright, so that picture of the ATP bracket is the correct bracket?

Actuator
Wastegate Actuator 6 PSI: atpturbo.com

Bracket
Wastegate Bracket - SR20/GT28RS: atpturbo.com

So if I got both of those, it would work?

its better if the waste gate has a threaded arm. I know I bought a threaded arm for a reason but I don't remember if I changed the rod end or was just adjusting the tension on the arm. I know atp was the only place I could find the correct waste gate

Yeah, thats true. I'll try to find one that fits with a threaded arm.... as a last resort I'll just buy the one from ATP

atp has the one with the threaded arm but its not the turbonetics unit that I got from them. You may be able to use the waste gate you have with a different arm but you will need the correct bracket to see if it will work. I did not even try to make the waste gate work that came with my gt28rs. I was using a gt28r at the time so I just swapped the bracket and waste gate over to the gt28rs. I know the waste gate that came on the gt28r was not threaded but do not remember what came with my gt28rs.

Yeah, but the thing is I noticed in your pictures....

Look at where the wastegate rod connects to the "flapper" see how yours is when its shut it's at an angle?

Mine looks like this....

I'm not sure if your able to bend that piece or not, I cant imagine it would be good to twist it.... but I could be wrong

I have what you need. I used it on a 2871with the same housing as you and it cleared everything. I had to play with it a bit, but got it to work properly for 2 years.

You could also buy a sr20 exhaust manifold flange, and some extended studs then put it together. The flange would act as a spacer. I did this a few times on DSMs, and it worked well.
