I have an s14 wastegate that I made work on my gt28 and avenir manifold. I notched out the mount holes on the wastegate and rotated the compressor housing til I found a spot that worked.

I hear from people that the ATP bracket works, but then other people say NO it doesn't work.

I'm just going to buy a GTiR bracket and a straight waste gate, and if that doesn't work.... I guess I'm SOL

jgy customs still makes the bracket i have. I am running a external gate now but I used mine on my gt28r and gt28rs. All of these brackets require you to clock the comp housing for them to fit.

Got it to work.

I took the bracket that came with the turbo, and flattened it. Bolted it up in a different spot... and had to bend the wastegate rod a little bit but its still functional check it out

Now I just need to find where I can get the fittings for the oil/coolant feed and stuff. I know GFD sells the kit for T25's and T28's and I have the one for my old T25, but it doesnt fit the GT28RS. Anyone know if ATP or anyone else has any?

Good job. There is always a way to make things work.

ATP most definitely does, but they're a little on the expensive side. If I were you, I'd tell a local pneumatics/hydraulics shop what you're doing, and have them make some stuff up for you. I posted in Jensen's Turbo Thread with the parts that you would use.

Ahh, alright thanks Tekkie. I'll check it out and see if I can get in touch with any pneumatics/hydraulic shops around here.

Thanks again

You talking about Jen's post? The title has something about "Still smoking" in it?

I was wondering what size the adapter has to be.... it seems like mine has a built in oil restrictor in it.

I have no idea about the plumbing, I havent really done one before. If someone could give me some ideas that would be greaaaaaat

Thanks!

Make sure that when the rod extends and the WG opens the rod itself doesn't interfere with the arm on the WG.

Yeah, we double checked that and made sure it wouldnt do that.

Anyone know where I can get AN specs? I took a micrometer to the holes, to see how big they were, but I cant find any AN specs anywhere....

Does 1/2" sound reasonable for the coolant in/out fittings?

the coolant in and out are 1/4 NPT.
