t25/t28 Hybrid
Dyno Results http://www.sr20-forum.com/turbo/23225-dyno-results-ams-57-hp-increase.html#post300670

Just got my t25 back from a fresh rebuild and decided to upgrade the turbine and compressor wheels while at it. Also the thrust bearing was upgraded from a 270* to a 360* bearing. My current hp figures are 225hp at 10psi. My goal is 260-275hp, nothing more then 300hp. The turbo is going in this week. Not sure if I'll need a re-tune. The downpipe is also being change for a 3 inch.

Nice Lou. that looks pretty close to mine from G-pop shop:

It looks like your wheels are about the same size. If it's anything like mine, it will spool a little later (starts at 3k hits hard about 4k), but give you a good kick in the pants.

I just got mine tuned last weekend, and I'm very pleased. It was tuned on a Dyno Dynamics (the heartbreaker lol) and I'm going to get some comparison numbers on a Dynojet here in town this week. I won't have sheets ready till this weekend.

Swiss, so did you notice a nice difference then?

I was thinking about sending it to g-shop but TEC had only a four day turn around time. I spent a little more though.

As far as the spool up time I think I can deal with that cause of now my wheel spin is very bad, so I'm hoping since the car is moving a bit quicker, I will have less wheel spin. On the stock wheels the car feels super fast, but I need more power with 225/45/16 RS-2's I have. We'll see. Very curious on how your numbers will be.

I was going from a T28 to the T25/T28, at stock boost. It was really hard to tell much difference at all (especially at stock boost). Upping the boost, adding cams, etc, it seems stronger than my old T25 setup. In the end, I think these turbos fall right where you would expect them to- between a T25 and T28. We'll call it a T26.5, lol.

I was running 10psi before I got it tuned (which turned out to be closer to 11 on the more accurate gauge on the dyno). We ended up tuning to 13psi.
