Finally some new mods coming.
Well since the build has been done, i havent really touched the car at all as far as more mods. Ive been trying to save up for an intake manifold and i finally found one. I found a guy with one on ebay and had a good feedback rating for other manifolds that he has done that made good power so i went for it being he is from Taihland. The manifold is almost designed like the gtir manifold in the way the plenum is, the plenum is a little larger than the gtir one and of course smooth velocity stack runners, short runners and a very smooth flowing plenum from the looks of it.

The manifold is going to be flanged for the Q45 throttle body ill be running and has all the ports for vac lines and the idle air control valve. So we will see how if performs when it arrives in the next couple days and ill take some detailed pics for you guys and let you know how it performs. Best part of all is that i got the manifold for $440 shipped.

Also ordered my rebuild kit for my t3 turbo, i was gonna send it out but i figured its easy enough to do myself so ill just stick to doing things myself. I ordered the name brand kit with the 360 performance thrust bearing instead of the 270 deg one that comes factory in it.

I will also be redoing some of my intercooler piping to 3" and having them welded for a nice clean look and clean routing. So pics to come.

The one i got was 95 shipped and it was an actual name brand kit. From what the add said they are one of the main suppliers to garrett themselves, hmmm ill have to check up on that but i went with this one over the one that cost 30 bucks, haha

It looks better quality as well.

Buy the kit from GPopshop, or buy a Kamak kit.

There ya go, I got the Kamak kit. Thanks Tekkie. Yeah the parts look like they are very very good quality parts compared to the ones for 30 bucks, haha who would buy a 30.00 rebuild kit.

Ill let you know how it goes. Ill be doing the stuff next week as well as probably a P11 trans.

Feel free to use the how to guide in the turbo section for step by step instructions.

Yeah i was gonna send it off to Full Race in Phoenix but i figured, hell its not that hard, ive done harder things before. So hell ill give it a shot. They were gonna charge me 295.00 for the rebuild so hell if it comes out good ill save myself $200, haha

Yeah and thanks tekkie, your how to is really informative and explained why the last time i tried to rebuild a t25 that i snapped the turbine shaft in two. Stupid nut is reverse threaded. The turbo was pretty junked anyways. Once i got it off the turbine blades had contacted the housing anyways.

LOL I didnt bother looking up how to do it either so i guess thats my fault. But thanks again for the writeup.
