Thread: how much boost can i run on my set up

Here's my setup:
sr20 de-t (stock motor high compression)
Gti-r t-28 turbo bb (stock actuator max about 12 lbs) and manifold (no waste gate)
525cc msd # 50 injectors
z32 maf (blow through)
stock high compression cams
wolf ecu tune to z32 maf & msd injectors
stock fuel regulator
manual boost controller
solid mounts

15psi depending on the quality of the gas.

so it's good 15 lbs with c16 on race day?

From my research you should be okay at 15-18 psi on 93 octane and can run a bit more on C16 before the turbo completely falls on its face (on your particular setup). You might be pushing the injectors to their limit though. Check the max power you can make with your injectors at 3 bar. I tried searching for the thread that has that info but came up short.

That T28 cant max those 50lbers out. If it were me...on the days that I really wanted to killem id run 18-19lbs. I did this on my T25 for over a year when I had it with no probs
