Damn, I took the video but it doesnt show any smoke, I used the video recorder on my phone

I think I will go take it for a ride and make it smoke again that way its clear on the video.... but anyways, heres the video

YouTube - 0806091712 00

And I will do a compression check once I find the damn tester... somewhere around here in the cluster f*ck of tools

PS Sorry for the horrible sound quality, the Jpipe and downpipe arent connected 100% yet haha. You can see a minor oil leak from the oil return line at the beginning of the video.

well i can def say when i had the engine it ran fine. i am def leaning to some thing leaking or a bad turbo. i drove the car to the shop the morning we started the VE swap with no issues what so ever. the car ran great didnt smoke at all.

definitly do the compression check to eliminate that indefiintly. the video is hard to see the leak, but there can only really be 2 things 1 the headgasket 2 the turbo, i would hope it was the turbo as its the lesser of the evils to replace

What's all that crap on the concrete by your muffler?! Surely that didn't come out of your exhaust?

Does it start smoking right away when you start it first thing in the morning? Or does it not smoke until after it's warmed up a little bit?

Does it (the smoke) dissipate into the atmosphere quickly, or does it linger around for a while? If it lingers in the air longer than a few seconds, then it's oil. If it dissipates quickly, then it's water.

i just hope that you didnt cook any thing when you went for that drive. not having the 2 temp sensors in the head probly wasnt a good idea when you took it for a drive.

It dissipates into the air rather quickly (5-10 seconds)

EDIT: The stuff on the ground near the muffler is the oil return line (had a small leak) but its all fixed now

I hooked up both of those sensors and it seemed like it wasnt smoking as bad from the front. The temp gauge still wasnt working inside the car though.

Anyways, im leaving for some more training for the Army tomorrow, wont be on the forums for another month or so, but just wanted some ideas so I can think of whats going on while im gone.
