Thread: JGY Fuel Rail Question

IIRC, I took my lowport manifold to my Friends shop, and I can have him make you a fuel rail. He was the only shop in the nation to start fuel rails for Scion TC's when the car first hit the market.

You'll just need to provide injectors.

I'd need to talk to him first, though...

I will tell you that a regular sr20 and a gtir sr20 have a different design and the 2 DO NOT match up..so make sure its specifically for a gtir. They will design your rail for whatever you need them for, so you need to find out what injectors were in the fuel rail previously. There is no basic universal fitting for their rails, most injectors are different.

So if you are against jgy and set on not using them then why start the thread? Use another fuel rail...

nah but seriously, i still need a lowport rail for GTI-R injectors...not to mention wiring.



I started the thread because someone said they had a JGY rail that theyhad made for a stock lowport motor. i was curious because:

1. the rail was already made for my motor
2. it's a good price for it

But I didnt think that JGY made a "universal" type rail. Different injectors use different rails, to the best of my understanding. Hence my question about whether JGY does a universal rail or specific rails for each type of injector. I'm not necessarily against using them, I'm just looking for more information before I make the purchase. Measure twice, cut once.

I just got back home from NJ this morning, around 2am from delayed in Newark and Atlanta . I will definitely get it to you Monday, since I have to go grocery shopping today with the wifey. I haven't forgot about you!

I think you the biggest question is what injectors were in the fuel rail first stock gtir 444s...? Also jgy can make you a brand new for like 150 shipped.

JGY is 50/50. Ready-made parts that you buy from them tend to come in, in a decent timeframe. Custom parts have been known to be sub-par, and take FOREVER to receive.

Supposedly their new business practices are helping, but I for sure wouldn't buy from them until I start to see more positive feedback from the community, regarding their overall service.

i havent had a bad experience but if you look at their intake manifold... enough said on their ability to make custom parts. Those fuel rails I dont care what they say arent made in house and he sent me one from 04 so that shows you that he has them laying around.
