I compared the GT2560R off my VET (same as S14a/S15 turbo) with the GTiR T28, and the compressor housing shape & size was identical internally. In fact I swapped the housing over so that I could use the VET piping. The compressor wheels were also identical, the GT exhaust wheel was 2mm smaller in diameter but longer axially - I didn't measure by how much. The exhaust housing was 0.64 compared to the GTiR's 0.86.

Vadim, I think you'll get irritated by the GTiR turbo's slower response. An S14a/S15 turbo will net you the power levels you're after without losing as much response as you would with a GTiR.

Well I already sent the money for it, so unless Ameen sells it with the car it's mine .

I think I will be irritated at first, but when I enter boost it will probably change haha.

I'm more irritated by the fact that injectors are so expensive

what exactly are your power goals? I'd say adding cams to your T25 setup would give you a nice power bump. S3's and S4's come up for sale all the time.

Power goals are 250-300whp. It all honestly depends on traction. If I have no traction at 300whp, then I would want much less hehe.

With this I'm not really looking for more power for say. I am more of looking for more efficiency at the turbo level.

Well, Vadim... don't feel trapped my friend If you decide you want cams instead of the turbo I've got those as well lol. Or if you dont want a GTIR turbo and your mind changes between now and next week let me know.

If its your daily driver I would not go with s4 cams, especially if you have Prothane Motor Mounts. I have them but its not my dd.

If you change your fuel injectors to top feed, this guy has unbelievable prices:
Fuel Injectors: Find fuel injectors, tbi injectors at Motor Man Fuel Injection Supply

2 local guys are running 405cc's and 450cc injectors for over a year now with no problems in their 280z's, and it ran about $150 for a set of 6.

Just tell him you'll be using it on a Nissan and he'll include the correct bottom seals. Also, you have to do the legwork and find out the part number of the injector you want, as he doesn't organize them by CC.

I will let you know, I'm pretty excited about getting it, just worried about traction

I'm actually going to probably remove the Passanger side motor mount, and possibly the transmission mount to reduce the vibrations

I would rather not replace anything unless I really really have to, but if the time comes I will keep it in mind. Sucks that he doesn't do sidefed

don't worry about the response out of the gtir turbo, u won't even realize the diff in response, to me it was almost instant compared to my 2871r. I should be selling my 444 gtir injectors soon, if all goes well.
