Honestly it's not even that anymore. It's paying $400 for $25 whp. Or $350 for up to 300whp.

No the exhaust side is different. The S14/15 comp. housing is a upgrade for the GTI-R.

cams are definitly going to be a supporting mod i wouldnt personally upgrade the turbo without having already upgraded your existing stock cams for a little something more aggresive.

Well you are Eventually going to get a gtir t28 which you are gonna get about the same amount of whp over the 230-250ish you can get out of your t-25. Also its pretty much the same cost cams vs turbo upgrade for you.

In all honesty the s4s dont have that bad of an idle, you could use your ecu to bump up your base idle a bit and most likely, you wouldnt nothice any loping after that.

I was just saying cams are somthing that you will eventually want anyway, and it will give you quite a while to decide exactly what turbo you want.

if idle becomes a isues you could always just richen up the idle some to smoothe it out a bit

I'm worried about low end torque with S4's, since the lobs are big, it doesn't really help in the low end torque department.

I've decided to go with a GTiR T28, and I'm going to use the turbo lag to my advantage to improve city/highway mileage. Basically with my current turbo I'm building boost when just grandma driving around. Having a some lag until 3.5-4k RPM should help this.

Plus it will be nice to be able to actually have power past 6k rpm
